3 unexpected causes of hunger

If you almost feel hunger, probably the cause is not just the fast metabolism. Sometimes it becomes extremely difficult to stick to a particular diet because of constant hunger, and this can be a problem if you follow the calorie intake.

In addition to frequent suspects, in the face of stress and missed snacks, there are some other reasons for stale hunger, which may be surprising.
1. Salt
In addition to causing a strong thirst, salt also strengthens the feeling of hunger. A recent study by the University of Vanderbilt in the United States found that excessive salt consumption initially led to thirst, but after 24 hours the body began to “stock” with water by retaining it.
For this purpose, the body uses many of its energy reserves, which in turn is the cause of hunger.
2. Alcohol
Even moderate amounts of alcohol can affect leptin levels in the body. Leptin is a hormone of hunger that signals the brain to stop eating, in other words – “tells him” that you are already saturated.
Study data indicate that drinking alcohol is the cause of leptin levels, which causes the brain to think you are still hungry.
3. Medications
Hunger may be a side effect of some medications, especially corticosteroids. People who have taken these medications report that they are hungry and end up eating more often.
